This is my personal reading timeline—a chronological record of everything I read, from books and articles to poems and essays. Eventually, I hope that this will also be a reference resource for all of the notes and observations I make while reading. Right now, it's pretty much just a list as I work to back-fill my reading history from a scattered collection of sources.
I created this for my own enjoyment as an alternative to popular social media reading sites like Goodreads, Storygraph, Hardcover, etc. because I feel like they can turn reading into a competitive sport. My reading journal does lack the social interaction of those sites, but you are always free to email me your thoughts about the content here (or anything else for that matter.)
There is a first paragraphs section because I enjoy seeing how an author chooses to begin. How will the rest of the book unfold from this first impression?
